It was snowing!

Yessss! Ol´ jeeps love snow! And mud, too! I took these pics latest 3rd December 2010. I hope that you´ll enjoy them as much as me. Really, it was amazing to drive 4wheel drive and see other cars trying to scape from difficults, as slippering or clashing with the pavements!

Some artwork for my online shop

Hi!

After many months, and some problems with my "aitona", I update this blog with some more pics of me posing wearing my textile stuff: t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc. I hope you´ll enjoy them! You can buy these or order me any other at http://www.robertoflores.com/tienda/catalog/

Thanks a lot!

A bunch of cool pics!

A sunny Saturday of May (the 16th), I was driving at my neighbourhood when I found a cool Spanish made Seat 1500 and I parked alongside it to take some pics.

Probably the next day, Sunday 17th, I found another local jewel, a Santana Commer van, which is used daily! Nice vehicle!

Some more vids!

Hi, fellows!

These vids were recorded by my friend Mikel Ezkurra, a pasionated of "big jeeps" (M715 series, etc.):

The first one show me driving the Willys-Viasa jeep at the small village of Arre near my home-town, during May 2008 (probably the 1st week). I´m the one with beard at the wheel!

Checking the brakes!

Starting the Perkins engine...

Again the brakes!

At Pamplona-Iruña...

More at my hometown!

Thanks a lot, Mikel!

With another shoes...

Hi!

Due to some mechanical circumstances, my jeep was dressed with these shoes for some time...What do you think?

A quick visit to Larunbe

At 1th February of 2009 I visited the small village of Larunbe, near my hometown. In fact it´s only 20kms. from Pamplona and there lived my friends Iratxe, Endika and his son Jon.

As you could see, I decided to do some pub´ with the jeep and added a pair of stickers with my logo at both doors!

Meeting the ol´ jeep owner!

Well, at 7th December of 2008, I meet the ol´ owner of my jeep, mr. V. Astibia from Garaioa, a small village in the route for Roncesvalles or Orreaga in Basque language. I wne there with my friend Juantxo, the same guy with who I discovered for first time the jeep

After two phone calls to his home, we arranged a meet and I have the opportunity of getting some more info about the jeep: that he bought it at least 15 years ago, that this was the cause of a disgust for his wife and that his daughter learned to drive with it...Amazing!!!! Also, that the dark green collor of its bodytub caused more than a scare to furtives fishermen as they thought the Spanish "Guardia Civil" (kindda rural police) was there to arrested them! He, he, he! Cool stories!

Also, mr. Astibia told me that he employed the rear PTO to work with the firewood. A real working machine!

That´s me posing with mr. Astibia.
